How to Identify Legitimate Task Platforms

Green flags
- Clear, findable terms of service and a privacy policy.
- Payout conditions stated in plain language before you register.
- A real support channel that answers.
- Public company or contact information.
Red flags
- You are asked to pay to start. Legitimate task work does not charge a joining, training or "activation" fee.
- Guaranteed income claims. No honest platform can promise what you will earn.
- Recruitment matters more than work. If most of the money comes from referrals rather than tasks, that is a different business model — and often an unsustainable one.
- Pressure and countdowns. Urgency is a sales tactic, not a feature.
- Requests for sensitive documents or card details early on, before any work has happened.
