How Affiliate Links Work
What a referral link is, and what it does and does not cost you.
An affiliate or referral link is an ordinary link with a tag on it that tells the destination site who sent you. If you register through it, the referrer may receive a commission from that platform.
What this means for you
- You pay nothing extra. The commission comes from the platform, not from you.
- Your account works exactly the same as if you had typed the address directly.
- You can always go to the platform's website yourself instead.
